WordPress Website Price in Pakistan (2026): What You Really Pay

WordPress website price in Pakistan 2026 breakdown table showing build, domain and hosting costs

Two quotes for the same five page WordPress site in Lahore can come back at PKR 25,000 and PKR 150,000, and both developers can be honest. WordPress itself is free. The gap comes from what each quote includes, and from the yearly costs it quietly leaves for you to pay later.

This guide breaks down the real WordPress website price in Pakistan for 2026: the one time build, the running costs, and a simple way to tell which quote is actually cheaper.

How much does a WordPress website cost in Pakistan?

A WordPress website in Pakistan usually costs PKR 20,000 to 80,000 for a basic business site, PKR 60,000 to 120,000 for a larger corporate site, and PKR 80,000 to 300,000 for a WooCommerce store. Domain, hosting and maintenance are paid on top, every year.

These ranges come from 2026 price guides published by Pakistani agencies, freelancers and hosting companies. They disagree on the exact numbers, but they agree on the shape of the WordPress website price in Pakistan:

Website type Typical build price (PKR) What decides the price
Landing page (1 to 3 pages) 15,000 to 35,000 Template or custom design
Business website (5 to 8 pages) 20,000 to 80,000 Design, page count, who writes the content
Corporate or service website 60,000 to 120,000 Page layouts, forms, more than one language
WooCommerce online store 80,000 to 300,000 Products, payment gateways, delivery rules
Custom WordPress build or web app 150,000 and up Custom features and integrations

The same site costs more in Karachi, Lahore or Islamabad from an agency with an office and a sales team than from an independent developer in any city. That is overhead, not quality, and the wider website development price in Pakistan follows the same pattern on every platform.

Why two quotes for the same website are so different

Two WordPress quotes differ mainly because of what is hidden inside them: the theme and page builder licences, the number of plugins, who writes the content, whether SEO setup is done, and whether hosting and support after launch are included or billed later.

Most price guides stop at the range. The useful question is what each line of a quote actually covers. These are the eight things I check when a client sends me another developer's quote:

  1. Theme. A free theme, a premium theme or a custom design. Premium themes need a yearly licence for updates.
  2. Page builder licence. Elementor Pro costs roughly $59 to $84 a year for a single site. Some very cheap quotes use a pirated ("nulled") copy, which never updates and is one of the most common ways WordPress sites get hacked.
  3. Plugins. Each paid plugin has its own yearly licence. Twenty plugins also slow every page down.
  4. Content. Writing six pages of copy and finding photos is real work. Many low quotes assume you supply everything.
  5. SEO setup. Page titles, meta descriptions, sitemap, schema and Google Search Console. Without it, the site exists but nobody finds it.
  6. Speed and mobile testing. Checked on real phones, not just a resized browser.
  7. Training and handover. Can your team edit a page without calling the developer?
  8. Ownership. The domain, hosting and admin login should all be in your name.

Ask every developer to confirm in writing which of these eight items are included. The cheapest quote often becomes the most expensive once you add back what it left out.

The yearly costs that most quotes leave out

After launch, a WordPress website in Pakistan costs money every year: the domain, hosting, any premium licences and maintenance. For a small business site, plan for the domain fee plus roughly PKR 2,500 to 15,000 a year for shared hosting, before maintenance.

Yearly running costs of a WordPress website in Pakistan: .pk domain, hosting, licences and maintenance

Running cost Typical price Notes
.pk domain Rs 2,100 per year PKNIC fee for Pakistan based registrants from 1 August 2026, charged two years at a time
.com domain PKR 1,000 to 2,500 per year Varies by registrar
Shared WordPress hosting PKR 2,500 to 15,000 per year Sources disagree; cheap plans often slow down as traffic grows
Premium theme, page builder, plugins About $59 per year and up, per licence Only if your build uses them
Maintenance PKR 5,000 to 10,000 per year (basic), more for monthly care Updates, backups, security checks

A .pk domain registered through PKNIC therefore costs Rs 4,200 at the start, because the fee is billed for two years. Registrars and hosting companies may add their own charge on top of the registry fee.

What a WooCommerce store adds to the price

A WooCommerce store costs more than a business site because every product, payment method and delivery rule must be set up and tested. In Pakistan that usually means cash on delivery, a JazzCash, Easypaisa or card gateway, and courier rates, all working before the first real order.

The extra work usually sits in four places:

  • Product upload. Fifty products with sizes and colours take far longer than ten.
  • Payment gateways. A wallet gateway is more than a button. It needs a confirmation step (a webhook), so a customer who pays and closes the tab still creates an order in your dashboard.
  • Cash on delivery and courier rules. Delivery charges by city, free delivery above an amount, and order confirmation messages.
  • Stock and order emails. Low stock alerts and order notifications to you and the customer.

If you do not want to manage hosting, updates and plugins at all, a hosted platform can make more sense. I cover that on the Shopify store development page.

WordPress, Shopify or custom: which costs less over time?

WordPress usually costs the least upfront for a content led business site, Shopify trades a monthly platform fee for zero server management, and a custom build costs the most upfront but has no theme or plugin licences to renew.

WordPress Shopify Custom build
Upfront build cost Low to medium Low to medium Medium to high
Monthly platform fee None (you pay hosting) Yes, a Shopify plan None (you pay hosting)
Updates and security You or your developer Handled by Shopify Your developer
Best for Business, service and content sites Online stores that want simple running Booking systems, portals, unusual features

If your website has to do something no plugin does well, such as a client portal or a pricing calculator, a custom website can work out cheaper than stacking paid plugins.

How to get an accurate WordPress quote

The fastest way to get an accurate WordPress quote is to send developers the same written brief: the pages you need, three sites you like, who supplies the content, and the features the site must have. Matching briefs produce quotes you can compare line by line, which is the only reliable way to pin down your real WordPress website price.

  1. List every page you need (Home, About, each service, Contact).
  2. Pick three websites you like and say what you like about each.
  3. Decide who writes the text and provides photos.
  4. List must have features: WhatsApp button, booking, payments, Urdu and English.
  5. Ask for an itemised quote that covers the eight items above.
  6. Confirm the domain and hosting will be registered in your name.
  7. Ask what support costs after launch, and how fast they reply.
